Introduced last year as a repositioned model in Beta’s lineup, the RR X-PRO saw a popular response amongst riders of all levels. For MY26, the RR X-PRO range is back, with new looks and further refinements.
Expert riders were quick to embrace the X-PRO’s versatility—its uniquely adaptable frame and easily adjustable suspension make it just as capable on high-speed tracks as it is on demanding Hard Enduro trails. Meanwhile, amateur riders found confidence in its user-friendly design and balanced performance, which delivers both control and comfort, even in the most challenging terrain.
For MY26, Beta has raised the bar even further. Enhanced frame characteristics introduced in the 2025 model year improve handling and offer even more precise tuning of both suspension and engine settings. Select engine capacities have been enhanced to deliver smoother, more responsive power—an upgrade that will be appreciated by riders at every level.
As always, the X-PRO range includes eight distinctive models, each designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of riders. Whether you're a seasoned rider or new to the sport, there’s an X-PRO built just for you. What unites them all is their ability to inspire confidence and deliver a rewarding ride.
Here is a summary of the main updates and features of the RR 2T and 4T X-PRO MY26 range:
Frame
Returning from the MY25 X-PRO models, the reinforced frame featuring a larger main spar section (vs MY2024) makes a comeback in the MY26 lineup. This design maintains balanced weight distribution while improving overall stability. The increased rigidity delivers just the right amount of flex, offering precise cornering performance whether navigating tight single tracks or tackling demanding Hard Enduro terrain.
Suspension
First introduced in the MY2025 RR X-PRO models, the revised ZF suspension system continues to deliver an ideal blend of control and comfort. With a seat height of 930 mm (20 mm lower than the RR Race models) riders enjoy a more planted and confidence-inspiring ride, no matter the conditions.
.SHC Fork (Single Hydraulic Chamber)
The SHC fork was developed to optimise hydraulic efficiency and reduce weight—shaving approximately 250g. The fork’s dual-leg system separates the forks function: the right leg handles spring action, while the left leg controls hydraulic damping. Both stanchions have been refined, with a completely redesigned spring guide to enhance oil flow, reduce high-speed pressure spikes, and improve internal lubrication. The result is a more linear, predictable fork response that adapts quickly and smoothly to varied terrain, providing a notably freer and more responsive ride than traditional systems.
Swingarm
For MY26, the rear axle diameter has been increased by 2 mm, now measuring 22 mm. This upgrade enhances stiffness and torsional resistance, significantly improving rear-end performance during aggressive riding and high-load situations.
Handlebar Mounts
The Xtrig FlexFix handlebar mounting system adds an anti-vibration block between the handlebars and lower mount, effectively dampening vibrations and reducing rider fatigue. Optional softer inserts are available, allowing riders to fine-tune the handlebar feel to their personal preferences.
Front Recovery Strap
Emphasising the RR X-PRO’s readiness for extreme riding, a new Beta-branded front tow strap has been added. Designed for real-world functionality, it offers a reliable recovery solution in tough conditions.
Handlebar Map Switch
Retained from last year’s model, the handlebar-mounted map switch remains integrated within the handlebar pad, similar to Beta’s MX lineup. This intuitive placement makes it easy to adjust engine mapping on the fly for optimal performance in changing conditions.
New features for MY2026 RR X-PRO range
Nissin Front Brake System
As seen on the RX 450, the RR X-PRO MY26 features a new Nissin front brake caliper. More compact, lighter, and more efficient than the previous version, it delivers improved braking modulation and a more responsive feel for greater rider confidence.
Radiators and Cooling System
Reliability is critical, especially under extreme riding conditions. That’s why the MY26 models retain the integrated coolant expansion tank within the frame and introduce newly reinforced radiators. These updated components are designed to resist deformation, maintaining optimal coolant flow and ensuring consistent engine temperatures even under heavy stress.
Battery (4T Models)
All four-stroke models are now equipped with a new, lighter, high-performance battery. This upgrade enhances starting reliability in all conditions, giving riders added peace of mind in both competition and recreational use.
Graphics
Bold, aggressive, and unmistakably modern—the MY26 RR X-PRO range debuts a striking new all-red livery, accented with sharp black graphics. The fresh look reflects the bike’s contemporary edge and racing DNA.
LED Tail Light
Further elevating its design, the MY26 receives a new LED tail light. More robust and stylish than the previous version, it not only improves visibility but also reinforces the X-PRO’s premium build quality.
Updates to the MY26 RR 250 X-PRO 2T
Engine Enhancements
The 250cc two-stroke engine receives a comprehensive update for MY2026, aimed at bringing its performance character closer to its larger 300cc sibling. This was achieved by adopting a shared crankshaft design with reduced stroke and an increased bore to maintain the 250cc displacement. Key updates include a redesigned cylinder with modified transfer port geometry, and a newly engineered head with an optimised combustion chamber. These changes deliver a noticeable boost in torque and smoother, more linear power delivery—while maintaining the 250’s spirited performance. Riders will also benefit from improved mass centralisation and a lower center of gravity. Additionally, the crankcase now accommodates larger bearings for increased durability.
Gearbox Improvements
Second gear has been extensively reworked to expand its usable range. This upgrade improves the transition into third gear, resulting in a smoother, more stable ride—especially noticeable in rough terrain or during Hard Enduro segments. These refinements enhance rider comfort and ease of use, particularly when navigating technical sections.
(Note: These transmission and bearing updates also apply to the RR X-PRO 300 2-Stroke).
Updates to the MY26 RR 125 X-PRO 2T
Engine Upgrades
Beta continues to push the limits of its smaller displacement models. For MY26, the RR X-PRO 125 2-Stroke features a new piston and redesigned cylinder head with an updated combustion chamber. These modifications significantly increase both torque and peak power, giving the 125cc single-cylinder engine a more responsive and aggressive feel. The result is a lively, high-revving engine that delivers stronger midrange punch and improved overall performance.
Gearbox Refinements
To handle the engine’s added power and ensure quick, precise gear changes, the gearbox has been upgraded with reinforced gears. Built for strength and calibrated for performance, the new transmission setup ensures that the 125cc engine delivers its best at every speed. (This gearbox update also extends to the RR X-PRO 200 2-Stroke.)
MY26 RR X-PRO 4T
Refined Engine Mapping for 4-Stroke Models
All 4-stroke engines in the MY26 lineup benefit from updated engine maps designed to enhance power delivery across the entire rev range. Regardless of displacement, Beta engineers have focused on improving throttle response, linearity, and overall usability. The result is a smoother, more manageable power curve that allows riders to harness the engine’s full potential with greater precision and confidence—at any speed and in any conditions.
